Hi all!

I need some suggestions.  I want to make a 3-color quilt--green, black and ???.  But I don't know what pattern to use, or what the 3rd color should be.  I am leaning towards a grass-green color.  I'd rather not do yellow/gold.  One Packer quilt in my lifetime was one too many as far as I'm concerned.

Thoughts or suggestions?

I'm not currently a premium member, so I don't have access to the free patterns.  But I can't seem to find something that is interesting without being paper-pieced or just the same block repeated over and over.

TIA for your help!

Susie, The first thing that popped into my head was purple....but I don't know if that's Packer colors or not.  Anyway, there are lots of free patterns out there.  Just Google the kind of quilt you want like star quilt or HST's in a quilt or go to Missouri Star Quilt Co. Jennie Doan has millions of good ideas.  Good luck and hope to see your creation when you are finished with it.

Red, purple, white, orange, grey, blue.

Any of those will work.

Search for two or three colour quilts you'll find lots of options.

Cream, that would lift the other two colours :-)
