I attended a lecture recently, the person talked about some of the threads there are for long arm quilters.  She mention a type of thread that takes on the hues of the fabric so that it blends very well.  I have some top stitching to do around some raw edge designs.  Does anyone know of this thread?  What weight is it? Is it polyester, nylon etc?  Where to purchase?

Thanks for all your help.

I know variegated thread works well.  Not sure which thread was discussed at the lecture but I am sure curious what type it is.
