Is anyone out there going to the Lancaster quilt show in March, 2014? My SIL is driving south from the Adirondacks and I'm driving north from Tennessee and meeting up in Lancaster for 4 days. I would love to meet any of you and join in the fun.

I'll be going on Saturday only. Hope others will want to get in on the action too. It's a great show and a wonderful marketplace in a great area of the country. Who else will be coming?
Mimi, I would love to meet up with you. We aren't leaving until Sunday morning.
I really would like to go not sure yet. But if I make it would love to meet up with you girls.

Joyce, Would love to meet up with you. I just bought a new t-shirt here so that I'll be noticeable. It's a light green with a log cabin and says "Quilting in the Smokys". Since I live near the Smoky Mountains, I figure there shouldn't be 2 of us. LOL

Oh Joyce, That is such good news. I was hoping you would be going. Maybe Judi could come too. Haven't seen her posting lately but it may be that she is still recovering from the massive power outages. Her area was hit the hardest in the latest ice storm. Those folks were without power for five days. And now the snow is flying again. We have at least 8 new inches of snow and it's still coming down. It's a good day to stitch.
That t-shirt sounds just like you Diana. I would bet that most who live in the Smokys would go to a closer show.
Mimi, There's going to be an AQS show in Charlotte, NC and Chattanooga, TN this year too. They are closer and may go to at least one of them or maybe both. Seeing the quilts is my favorite thing.
Saw they added these shows. I wish I could travel to them also but the one in Lancaster is close and I can avoid added hotel expenses and see all the beautiful quilts at the same time. Someday I'll be free of work and then I'll be able to save my $$ and go to more things like shows and retreats. I really want to go to the show in Paducah as visiting the store there, like you and Nana did last year, is on my bucket list. March is fast approacing but 4 more inches of s**n fell last night. I'm hoping it all melts soon.
