35 years ago today I was given a wonderful gift...my son Brian. Although my survival as an infant was in dire jeopardy and the fact that nobody wanted me has often made me question why I was allowed to survive. I knew that answer when Brian, and 3 years later, Scott was born. Now I know even more because of my beautiful grandson. They wouldn't be here if not for my survival. I thank God for them as well as my amazing hubby and wonderful daughter-in-love.

It's beautiful when we can remember our blessings- and reach out and touch them, isn't it, Mary.  You are so blessed and we love you too.    Ginny

You are very blessed to have kids and Grand kids, something that I will never know and it hurts me more now as I am getting older. I wanted kids but never found the right man and I did not want to do that one my own.

I hope that as an adult you do know that the " unwanted" you might have felt as a child was not your issue, but dumb adults unwilling to take responsibility for what they created- a beautiful child.

Happy Birthday Brian

Oh Mary - How sweet. You brought a tear (a lot of tears) to my eye. I'm so glad you have two sons and a wonderful husband who love you and want you now. What a wonderful week you have every Christmas now.
