Well it has happened.  Smoky, the cat, decided that the quilt in progress on my Grace quilting frame was there just for him to nap on instead of his pillow in the window sill.  Now I have a sag where he lay.  .  He has done this before but the sag was slight .  This time he was there for several hours while I went to town and the sag is about 2" deep and a foot or so around.  Any suggestions as how to eliminate this sag?  The slight one were easily eliminated unrolling about 4 inches and re rolling.  This one is defeating me.

My cat does the same thing. Tightening the bars usually works for me.

He is innocent until proven guilty...lol

Would spraying water on it and then tightening the bars work, allow it to sit over night?

well, I've just spent the past 30 min or so unrolling as far as I could the quilted part while taking up the slack up on the other rails and re-rolling the quilted part .  Third time was the charm as I managed to get the sag even out and things back to normal

I am so glad you got out the sag, Have you had a stern conversation with Smokey? It did not appear he was remorseful (but he is beautiful) in the "mug" shot!!

Hi Flojo,

Glad you were able to get the sag out, now what do you all think I should do about this?

Y'all are making me sooo miss having my cats.  I had to put my beloved Shadow to sleep and send Max on a long-term vacation to my ex's house.  Max "adopted" my granddaughter when she was born, so he is now "her" kitty, and he is living at Poppa's house.  But I miss the antics of having them.  There is something so soothing about a cat curled up on your lap, or pillow, or whatever, when you need to relax.

Well...maybe when I get a new place I can have them again.

That's so cute Sue. She fits perfectly in that hoop. It was really nice of you to make it so comfortable for her. LOL

Folio, I love the picture of your cat. It reminds me of one we had years ago. His name was Smoky and he use to love spaghetti.

Sue, I love the colors in your quilt.  Is it all quilted by hand? If so, I would love to be that good!
