Frances:
As for picking the winner wait until the 14th  and then after that PM me your favourite i will count them all up (using fingers and toes where necessary) and then a week after the 14th i will announce the winner ask them for there address so i can post there wonderful Mystery prize (well wonderful might be an over exageration)

Everyone, please vote for Frances' quilt.  If she wins, I will send her a mystery prize.   (Shhh, don't tell her...  it will be a dictionary of American spellings!)

Frances, as a Canadian, I too spell colour, favourite, and theatre. I don't like it when the iPad thinks it should correct me. So now there are four of us Kris, Susie, Frances and I who are positive that we spell correctly...lol

Susie:
Way back when...during middle school, I had to write a paper and kept spelling a word as "theatre".  The teacher kept counting it wrong.  I finally got so upset about it that I took in the dictionary and proved that, although it wasn't conventional, it also wasn't incorrect.  She had a tough time grading my papers after that.

The word aeroplane got me in the military. We don't say "airplane" where I come from and my NCO would always cross it out when I wrote it until I showed him the dictionary. LOL.

Dawn Childs:

I can't figure out how to make the image smaller so you can see the whole quilt.

Dawn,

Usually clicking on the image will reveal the full photo and allow for zooming. For some reason I'm unable to click on your photo as I can on the others. I was able to see the whole thing when I click on reply in your post. Strange.

You can try changing the size of the photo before you upload it. The QCA frames are a bit screwy since they added the ads in the sidebar.

And what about neighbour, tyres and cheques. I've had to conform to American spelling, and pronunciation too.

OK here's mine. I made it for my god daughter's baby. I just love this pattern and it was so much fun.
