I first read the galloping horse saying in a Georgia Bonesteel book which was printed in the 80's. She was quite popular back in that era with her Lap quilting books. My first book was written with instructions for still cutting with scissors. Eventually later editions were revised for rotary cutting. It was with this book that I tried to start quilting and gave it up as lost cause. In 1992 I took a series of classes and discovered the rotary cutter. I have never looked back.

I enjoyed all the quilts shown and have been filing away ideas for those someday quilts.
