I think, at least for now, I prefer not to be fired.  I was fired a couple jobs ago, and restructured out of my position at my last job.  I really think I could go a few years without being in the hunt for something new.  Unless, of course, people want to start really paying me for my hobby?

There is a joke about the hobby comment.  A friend of my son's that was staying with us stated in all honesty that he would NEVER want to be paid for a hobby because that would just take the fun out of the hobby and change it too much.  I would be in 7th heaven if I could get paid for my hobby!  Guess I've forgotten what it's like to be 18 and have anyone provide everything for you...

Oh, How I hear you , Susie.  To be paid for my hobby, that would be great, then I wouldn't have to wait for people to pay back the money they borrow.  What is it with these young people that think borrowing is the same as giving without having to pay back? ???  ---  Monday morning moaning here.     Ginny

What am I up to today???  Actually, not a darn thing!  My dog sitting went well but sleeping in someone else's bed not so good.  And that's alone, CC!  Sleeping in my bed last night, also alone, CC, was like sleeping on a cloud.  So I'm treating myself to a day of rest, which I've been doing too much of lately.  If I get around to it, I'll check out my stash for MQ9.  Have a wonderful Monday, all!

Amen to that Gini, my Grandma day care went from 3 1/2 days a week to 4 days. At least I go to their house where all the mess stays. Oh yeah, I do their laundry while I'm there too. DD and DSIL both work long hours so I help out where I can.

I did finish the quilting on DGDs summer quilt , just need to hand sew down the binding. She's getting a big girl bed soon.

Oh we'll today was a noisy day. The kids in class were loud! Came home with a headache..I know they are quieter than last year, but boy o boy this is a loud group! So I just took Advil and am relaxing a few before making supper. Hopefully I can sew tonight.  It's going to be a long year if we have a loud class like that every day.

Mimi:

Yes I am cutting away.  I got free fabric today.  Not bits and pieces but big hunks of fabric from an on line site that gives away its extra after cutting out their BOM's.  Just had to pay the postage to get it here.  I always cut up the scraps they send me..sometimes in strips, or squares or rectangles.

The Postage Swap is now open over in the Fabric Swaps Group...
