Not sure what kind of machine you have, but I've sewn slowly with a foot injury by holding the foot pedal in my hand, pressing with my thumb against the pedal and keeping fabric in place with the other hand.  It's not ideal, but desperation can do interesting things... Here's hoping for a speedy recovery!

Happy to hear you are amnaging Max. can you get a knee control for your sewing machine?

Max, Glad to hear that the surgery hasn't taken away your sense of humor.. Sorry that your nursemaid quit on you.  With your spirit of adventure, I am sure you will figure out how to work that foot pedal soon.   Ginny

Go ahead...laugh!  I would if I'd been watching!

The fact that you've maintained your sense of humor tells me you're doing well!  ....even if frustrated at the slow recovery.  Hang in there, Max!  This too shall pass.

Max glad to hear of your progress. I had foot surgery 2 years  ago and had to stay off my foot for many weeks. It is not easy to do.

Max I hope you are doing much better this week.  Found out today that my cardiologist fx his foot/ankle this week and had surgery with 8 screws.  He really messed it up.  Gave me a appt. for next Thurs. as he says he is coming to work on Mon.  His assistant and I both said I don't see how.    I hope the door bell thing works for you when my DH had heart surgery year ago we gave him a loud brass bell to ring when he needed us well we were all in the LR talking and doing things and didn't hear that crazy bell at all.  He used his cell phone to call the house phone from the bedroom to tell us he had to go potty.  He was in a recliner and wasn't strong enough to make it go back or forward.  He laughed about it after he recovered.  Let us know if your DH hears that bell. ha

We haven't seen Patti in a few days.  Is she having a medical procedure done?
