Judy,  dang,  I'll do some support  cussing for you.  Wish you had a. Video so we could all watch the chaos.   : )

Nah, you don't Gini.  LOL  All is quiet now except Sophie wants badly to have the neighbor cat for a play date.  I haven't made much in-roads on the reorganizing and now George wants to go out for lunch and a bit of Casino fun.

Karla, I hate paper piecing, but sometimes it is the easiest and best way to get the block you want.

Well, I got the block finished, certainly not perfect, but passable I think.  At least it is done, and I now know a little more about paper piecing.  Can't say that it will be my favorite method, but I can see that it can be vere useful.

It is a beautiful sunny day here.  So, I have spent most of the morning outside.  Split some wood for the fire place.  Prepared 400 tubes for planting wild flower seeds.  (I plan on selling them 2015 when they are large enough.)  And hope to keep it up every year. Mostly penstemon, but some coyote mint too.  I might try some globe mallow this year.  I hope to keep this up every year.

And I just finished looking over our long driveway, removing rocks and branches that would be a problem for the snow blower once snow season starts.  We have had a little snow 3 mornings, but most of it melts by afternoon.

Now off to my sewing room!

Karla, I tend to agree with Gini. I'm not crazy about paper piecing but it does have it's uses. I still have to finish the pP border on a quilt i started about the time dad died... Should did that out and get it done.

I today was a mazingly productive. I not only sandwiched the quilt, but  it worked out so I had time to   start quilting it.  The boys were so being good this afternoon,  that I actually finished quilting it. I figured It was really pushing my luck to cut the bindings, but I did it anyway... and pieced them... and pressed them... and sewed them on. Yes! The cancer quilt is finished, washed and hung out to dry. For some reason I really felt the pressure to get it done RIGHT NOW, so it's a great relief to know that I'll be able to take it to the PO tomorrow. Our postmaster has been gathering notes from the neighbors to add to it and she'll make sure that it gets delivered after everyone has a chance to add their thoughts and prayers. I used a higher loft batting  then I usually do and it's really poofy .  i backed it with flannel, so all in all it's a very cozy, snugly throw.  Spout has given it his seal of approval.

Quilters are people who strip so they won't go topless.

I love it CC. I mean the quilt and yes, the model.  Most quilts you see on here have a person's cat or dog laying on it, I prefer the handsome little model you show.   Ginny

Great looking quilt, CC, and sprout is adorable.  I'll have to post some pics of my grandson...he's 15 months old now and a handful.

Here he is terrorizing Kaci when we babysat him last weekend.

And as he believes in equal opportunity, he gave Bailey a little love, too.
