Whoa, I love the purple one!  How much thread did you have to use for these, Kelley?

Kelley:

OK here it is finished

Kelley,

These are just beautiful!! I was wondering what type of embroidery machine are you using and what is the brand of metallic thread. I'm looking for some really good metallic thread for embroidery and also for longarm quilting. Thank you and again, GREAT JOB!

Ramona,

Thanks,  the thread Im using isnt really a true metallic thread, its called embroidex thread. A very high sheen polyester thread that reads metallic I am using a Brother 4000 D embroidery machine that I have had for 6 or so years .. I have about 35 million stitches on it..lol..

Any way, I found this thread on Ebay and love it.. Good prices too..

kelley.

Mimi:

Oh how sweet, Elizabeth.  Did you use a pattern or make it up yourself?  My DGD#1 would love this in a couple years.

I adapted the bag from the www.noodle-head.com blog, it is her wide open zipper pouch.  The tool kit up I just made.  I had remembered seeing something like it for makeup brushes.  It's size was determined by the amount of fabric I had.  The fabrics were leftovers from a quilt I had made for this granddaughter.  FYI he sewing class is called American Girl sews so Emma named the her American Girl sewing kit.  She said all the other girls keep borrowing her tools.  Can't wait to visit her so we can sew together.

Kelly, The skulls are awesome!! How large are they?  What do you intend to do with them.  Makes me wish I had an embroidery machine.  Sigh........

I finished by Mystery Quilt #9.  If anyone would have told me I would complete a quilt with over 500 HST, I would have said "No Way".  But it was a lot of fun doing it with so many others.
