Thanks to Marie, Barbara in colorado, MNNancy and Leslie for you kind comments. I'm trying to decide which colors to use on the next one now.  I think I'm going to hang all of them in my two story foyer.  Not sure yet but it might keep the walls warmer.  : c )

Marie your new avatar can't possibly be your DGGS!  He's so big and such a cutie!!!  They grow so fast don't they?

Thanks Carol, I don't get to hug him as often as I want but I'll take what I can get.

Pretty rag quilt Angele.  The homespun fabric will be pretty at the edges. :)

Angele:

Thank you so much Brigit-Carol for the pattern site. I think I will make a few of these.

i finished my rag quilt yesterday and washed it today... So here goes.

ooops it went in the wrong spot.

I love what everyone is doing. The boot block, the embroidery the quilt... All so pretty.

Mimi I love your mini quilt. At this rate, every wall in your house will be covered...or you can have a different one hanging every month. Each one tells a story and they are great to look at.

Marie, your DGGS gets really all dressed up for a stroll in the pumpkin patch! He is quite a cutie. I hope you will get many opportunities to hold him and hug him.

Nope, can't work on a quilt today, gotta' pack for Oregon Retreat.  Plan on leaving at 6 am tomorrow morning...10-12 hour drive so should be there by 6 pm tomorrow evening barring any unforeseen problems.

Can't wait!

Oh Karla, I am so jealous.  Wish I lived closer or was retired already.  Have a great time.  I know you will.  Retreats are so much fun.

Finally made something for myself!  Love these bags.  I am going to the local Scottish Highland games today, so excited.
