Thank you so much Thea, Kris, Debbie and Mimi. I enjoyed doing them. Yes, Thea, I did longarm them.  Now if I could just get motivated and move on to something else. So many projects in my head for the summer but can't seem to jump in.

That's OK ,Julienne,  you can hitch a ride anytime. QATW is Quilting Around The World another quilting site some of the QCA'rs migrated to.

I'm happy you are enjoying your quilted hug from your friends here. It is beautiful.

I'm having a slow pace right now on making what i spaghetti strap tubes the turning is a pain but at least i'm doing a couple a day they will be woven into the center of my color wheel quilt eventually.  i'm still working out how many colors i want exactly in the center.  I'm sure glad I drew a picture of what i wanted to do with this quilt because without it I would've surely forgot the design.

I am kind of at a slow pace too!  I am working on my Dog Park quilt - fusing each block to fabric and then cutting the pieces out - one block a day... the first block is the big center so after this I might be able to get a couple blocks done a day.  I did block 2 today - first though I cut all the pieces for block 1 - then fused the pieces for block 2 - tomorrow I'll cut them out.

I still have to do the cherries on Autumn Baltimore Album but not ready to sit at the sewing machine and sew all those small circles with the satin stitch - one of these days I will do it... we shall see how long it takes me - probably when I find that perfect backing for this quilt then I'll do those cherries.

This week temperatures are supposed to be up in the high 90s and 100s... so I will be on my front porch sewing on the rest of the buttons on above mentioned quilt...:)

Hoping the aches subside - think it is residual pain hitting me from my 2 weeks in MN and the weather systems holding over OK - hope it goes away and tomorrow I wake with energy abounding!!!

I CAN DREAM!!!

Good morning quilters...I finished the cutting of the pieces for block 2 and fused the pattern pieces onto block 3 - which soon I hope to start cutting out.  It is going to be a warm day in Oklahoma - not sure I am ready yet but have been looking forward to this.  I am feeling better today and optimistic that I can get some work done today... I have to pack up Jay's collectible knives today - he got the boxes for them down from the attic a few days ago - but haven't felt up to doing it - so today hopefully will be that day... one more job completed today at the end of the day - we HOPE!

Julienne - it is so nice to see you back and your quilt just looks awesome with your head peaking out from underneath it - I am so very happy that you like it and I hope it brings you years of comfort and joy!  I am so happy that you and Thomas have a home of your own now - it is better I think to be in a happy stress free place and hopefully there will be no major problems with your health!  I pray for you each and every day!

I am looking for some new eye candy to help me start my day - did anyone finish a new quilt this weeken?

Angele:
Nice quilt Mimi!

Thanks Angele.  I'm really enjoying deciding on the quilting for these two.  Trying to keep to the fabric style.  Thanks again for your kind thoughts.

Is2116, Sounds intense. Can't wait to see a finished picture.

Thea, Glad you're doing much better today. Hope you are making some headway on your quilt. Knives, seems someone always has an additional project to add to our lists of things we want to do. LOL
