Angele, Sorry to read of your difficulties. It's really hard to see our parents and siblings have problems that can change their lives, and our own, so dramatically. Happy to see that there are good things happening for you, as well. Kind of "off-sets" some of the hard things that are going on.  :)  kathy

I've had a crappy sewing day. I've been trying to get a quilt done for a coworker but I keep getting a bird nest on the back. I've cleaned the machine, re-threaded, changed needle, changed thread (top and bottom) to no avail. I walked away then returned after few hours and still the bird nest. It's a good thing I'm sewing off to the side and not on the actual quilt top or I'd be pulling my hair out along with the bad stitches. Never had so much trouble with this machine. At any rate I've called it a night and I'm off to bed.

Happy Easter Everyone.

Kris, you're so good you've probably already tried this, but just in case in the fog of frustration... have you pulled your bobbin thread to the top and it's still nesting?  Is the bobbin case completely seated correctly?

Yes I've been pulling the bobbin thread to the top and I did check the bobbin. I'm hoping leaving it off over night corrects whatever is ailing this machine. I really want to get this quilt done so I can get back to regular projects.

Kris:
Never had so much trouble with this machine.
Someone told your old machine you were getting a new one, now it is jealous. I hope you figure it out soon, and it is something simple (easy) to fix. I know it would drive me crazy.

Angele, I'm sorry to hear of all the problems In your family

judy and carol, cute quilts

kris, I think you've picked a great machine.  The last two times I tried out machines, the innova was at the top of the list.  Have fun with your new baby.

Well Kris, I think this machine heard about the new one coming and wanted you to not have any regrets about buying it.  I really hope you can get it figured out today and finish your job.   Happy Easter!    Ginny

It's a Babylock QCP. I'm so looking forward to the upgrade.

LOL. Could be. It should be performing to avoid being thrown out.

I haven't been to the sewing room yet. I'm on call and have had a busy morning. I have one more patient then hopefully I'll be able to sew before I have to go back to the hospital.
