Ok I was on Facebook and saw a contest for Free Fabric Friday on Quilting Daily.  Of course you had to make an account in order to enter.  So I did but I used the wrong email address. Called tech support and the only way their was no way to fix it so I had to create another account with a different username as my username is now linked to the account with the wrong email address.  Anyhow once I finally got in their site is set up exactly I mean exactly like this one.  Only difference is colors.  So I thought to myself.  They must use the same techies cause they really can't get it all quite right.  Oh well I like this site better.

Kris:
10 feet. That's the space I have.

That is what I bought, I got a Gracie Frame last year. I do like it ,but it does take up a lot of my sewing room.

Wow I had forgotten how much chat could happen in ten days! Beautiful quilts, baskets.. The creativity and talent amazes me every time!..

To everyone suffering , I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

to all those sick and tired of snow, we are supposed to have another 4 inches tonight. It's really getting old...

I have been hand quilting slow but sure, and working on a signature quilt. For the last two weeks, my world has slowed down. My father was ill with pneumonia, my brother diagnosed with Parkinson and my mom fell three times in four days. It seems all is just falling apart. Two other brothers are waiting for hip and knee surgery. So through it all, my focus has been off. I now try to appreciate my health more and appreciate my life more.

I currently have a 10 foot frame set up so I know it will fit but I think front to back it's bigger. I'll have to do some rearranging in my space.

Angele, I am so sorry to hear of all the wretched news that has been going on in your life lately. Prayers are in order for you and your family as you work through all of this.  I can see why your focus has been off.   We have to be thankful of any bit of good news that comes our way.  If you can get it from us all the better.    ginny

Thanks Kris and MamaG. In all this sadness there is happiness too. Many things I can be grateful and thankful for.

I am waiting for a new baby great nephew to be born. I think he knows what the weather is like and prefers to be warm and cosy for now...lol

There will be another great nephew or niece by September.

My oldest son and his girlfriend/ life partner have moved in together. He is very happy and she is very nice.

i will retire at the end of this school year,  June 20th. I know I'm still young at 55 to retire, but I want time to be with my family and do things with DH before we can't anymore. It doesn't mean I won't work anymore, it means I will do something outside the education field. I'm ready. I want to spend more time quilting, creating, exploring new techniques.

So I am thankful I'm healthy, thankful I can help family and friends, thankful for the love I receive from everyone I know.

HAPPY EASTER

Angele,  I hope you have a great Easter!  You certainly deserve a wonderful, happy day!

Judy, Your Seahawks quilt is just adorable!  I'm sure your charity will profit nicely from your fabulous work.

To all who have given my bunny quilt such nice compliments-- Thank you!  The quilt for the other twin baby girl is going to be the Patch Pals bear quilt. It's ready to be quilted. I hope to get that started today if I can get the house cleaned first for Easter tomorrow.
