Judy This little guy is so adorable.  If the others are like this, how can you resist making them?!

Barbara, the truth of the matter is that, I can't resist. I should not be making these right now. But I am so weak. :-)

Judy, Eeyore , looks great

Candis your butterflies are as pretty, I like the blue one, but it is my favorite color. Would love to see them all. How many different colors are there?

Thanks all who commented on my hankie butterflies, I have them in 6 colors, blue, red, yellow, purple, and violet , and a teal. I did not do green  because that is het favorite color. So the sashing  between the blocks are to be a tone on tone spring green. Also the borders.   I did 2 of each color but the hankies are all different.  I will post pic of all if you want to see. Should be done appliquéing them all today.   Thanks again everyone, makes me want to finish them all hearing your kind comments!  I love this site!

Candis, the butterflies are beautiful.  I love your plans for this and your aunt will be so pleased.

Can't wait to see the finished project.

I love this site too!  Can be frustrating when it isn't working as it should but can also be so inspiring.

Candis, Your hankie butterflies are just beautiful!!! I wish I had  known you were collecting them as I have a bunch from my Mom and MIL who would be 97 if she were alive so you can tell they how old they are. I cant wait to see a pic of this lovely quilt . Your Aunt must be one special lady and you are too for making this quilt for her.                        Susan

I finished a queen size quilt (90x90) and it's on the bed. It's Sylvia's Bridal Sampler patterns. I didn't make all the blocks, only about 50. I put the 6" blocks on-point and added 2" sashing and borders. Corki and Sophie are breaking it in. They seem to approve.
