Bonita, I think this quilt is totally lost to your DD, her DD looks like she owns it.  What a cutie patootie she is!  Love, love, love the quilt!

I finally got into my sewing space this morning & trimmed up the last of the t-shirts for a nephew's quilt.  I'll iron on the interfacing later & then I can start working on the layout. This will be a big quilt as my nephew is 6' 8" tall!!

I just love what everyone is doing. Jacy, I'm blown away by the book report wall hanging. I can't wait to see it quilted. Bonita, I'm glad my DD's can't see that puff quilt. I know some DGD's that would love to have it. Patti, I love what you did the with the scraps. Great donation!

You all are doing such wonderful work. I love all the quilts. I was able to work on a quilt today but I was just wondering. Have any of you ever done this? I walked into my sewing room/studio/quilt room/corner and I looked at all my fabric that is creeping into the living room and I said to myself. I having nothing to sew with. I don't have enough fabric to do a quilt. Mmmmmmm. But, guess what. I do. So I started on my HST quilt. heehee

Karla:

I started working on this one at the Oregon Retreat in October...

This is great!  Are these fabrics from the black-white-red swap?  You must have added more of your own?

Do you remember the name/company of the backing fabric?  It works perfectly with your top!

Finally finished my kaleidoscope memory quilt, my aunt in law wanted fiesta colors and yellows her favorite color.  I did inset seams, stupid!!! I won't do that again!  So glad it's done! Can't wIt to work on the next quilt now!!!  Making pillowcases for the swap now! They are a fun small project to do in between quilts!  Love all the other quilts peeps are doing!
