Dorothy. love your table runner. I am not very good at deciding how to quilt things, seems I always figure out what I should have done after the fact.
Thank you. I'm getting tired of straight line quilting -- either in the ditch or just away from the seam. So I'm determined that this table runner is staying right where it is until I come up with an idea -- which mean nothing new for me until I do because it's using up my sewing table space!
Gini, sounds like you've had the day from HELL! Sorry! (((((HUGS)))))
As for your last statement, you're still a baby so no it's not what you have to look forward to. What you will learn as you get to my age, 76, that after 2 disasters you just go back to bed with a good book and stay there until the next day, no matter what! BTW I hope you had that margarita or maybe even 2.
Debbie-do, what a brilliant idea!
Poor Gini. I hope the margarita has taken full effect and you'll soon be waking up to start your day all over again. even with a hangover it's bound to be an improvement...
Quilters are people who strip so they won't go topless.
Gini - being 60, almost 61, I can understand. I had that kind of year in 2011, included 2 surgeries. I would hate to think of having it in 1 day! Hope you are better.
"I'm just a poor soul who's intentions are good. Oh, Lord, Please don't let me be misunderstood."
Gini, So sorry to hear about your awful night and day. I hope your day gets better.
Debbie great idea for a pillow.
Dorothy, Very nice table runner.
Debbie-do that's so cute, I'm already seeing scraps of quilts I've made.
Dorothy, your table runner is lovely. What's the pattern called?
Gini, I am so sorry to hear you are having a hard time at the moment. I hope your days get better real soon.
Debbie very pretty pillows.
Dorothy, love your table runner. I wish I could help with the quilting design, but I struggle with that myself.
I have managed to find the time to caught up on my LUS and Dear Jane blocks. I have a quilt on my frame that I would love to start hand quilting, but I am trying to get the courage to do it since I have not done something like this before, but I will probably hold off till after I get back from Tucson.
Gini, one of those things are bad enough one at a time but all in one night and morning, I'm surprised you held out until noon. Bottoms up..oh wait you did that already.
Debbie pretty pillows.
Dorthy, pretty runner. No idea on how to quilt it. That's why I have so many UFO's.
Gini I hope I never have a day like that. Especially tomorrow!!
Oh my, Gini, you had a terrible, horrible, no-good, very bad day! I thought those only happened in books.
(Would you like us to make you a quilt?)
On the banks of the Mississippi River in north central Minnesota (Brainerd lakes area)
Goodness Gini, did some big dark cloud of bad luck break open over North Idaho today. My poor DH found out at work today that he (and 3 others) were no longer needed. Now that I finally got everyone through the wedding, the holidays, and the flu, now I have a depressed DH moping around the house. I felt like crawling back into bed and I didn't have half the things happen that you did.
Oh How awful Jacy! Is this just a temp lay off? Will he have to find other work? Praying for you.
