I just got my quilt back from the longarmer. She did a beautiful job but the quilt no longer lays flat. It puckers up in certain areas. I have never had this happen before so I have no idea if anything can be done. HELP. The quilt is king size. Many, many hours were put into this quilt so if someone has an answer I would be oh so grateful. This was made as a gift that will need to be given in a few days.

would the longarmer be able to take out the stitching around the puckers and spread it out a bit and redo that part?

Unfortunately there is no time. I double checked the areas and found that it happened where she went over the same line many times. I will bring this up to her now that I have some idea as to why it happened.
