Judy T, that quilt is absolutely adorable...i love how you used the echo around the chickens, it almost makes it appear like they are moving in their egg-xcellent balancing act :)!!!! Really cute!
Jacy:Didn't you JUST finish that cute dinosaur one, I wish I had your energy!
Jacy, I just had to chuckle. You make all those quilts, design for the magazine AND have a bushel of kiddies. And you say you wish you had MY energy? Honey, you're the one I consider the energizer bunny.
(still chuckling here)
In the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
Is this "Which Came First?" I love the setting you used for this. So bright and cheery. And I agree with you about Energizer Bunny, aka Jacy. I can't believe how much she gets quilted with everything else she has going on. But I also agree with Jacy in that you whip 'em out faster than most and then there's Karla. When she's on a roll she's also amazing. Keep sending inspiration our way, ladies.
Judy I love this, so cheery
Judy T-Bellingham:Jacy, I just had to chuckle. You make all those quilts,
Ah yes Judy, I make all those quilt TOPS, and many quilt BLOCKS, but you make many FINISHED quilts.

Maybe what this group needs is a retreat where we work only on UFO's. I have piles of tops and orphan blocks. We could all bring our orphan blocks, throw them in one big pile and the challenge would be to make lap quilts. What crazy quilts those would be.! We could then donate them someplace like hospice, children's hospital, womens shelter etc.
Oh crud, only 30 minutes until company comes. Better hop in the shower and get dressed. I just have to stop being distracted.
Judy, this is a great quilt! Lots of FUN!
Judy, love your chickens. What a fun quilt.
Judy, I so love your fun quilt. It is very very cheerful and would make anyone smile. Which McKenna Ryan pattern was the chickens from?
Thanks everyone for your kind comments. I also love this quilt.
Bev, it's the What Came First pattern packet.
I've purchased all the packets for Down on the Farm and will be making those gradually for my granddaughter for when she graduates (hopefully) from Vet Assistant school.
Judy T-Bellingham:Bev, it's the What Came First pattern packet.
Correction, Which Came First. Here's a link to the pattern packet. As you can see I changed the layout. http://www.pineneedles.com/SuperStore/SuperStore-Assortment.asp?AssortmentID=2
That is adorable!! What a cheerful quilt.
A quilt will warm the heart.
Judy this is so cute! Love it, good work!
Judy T-Bellingham:I've been working on a small quilt. I had no reason for making this quilt except that it looked like fun. I have a bunch of McKenna Ryan's patterns and used the chickens and put them in a layout that I saw in the magazine Magic Patch.
I love it Judy.
