It's a busy week here with family visiting, so not a very fancy block, but hopefully pretty center fabric makes up for it.

Will go out in the mail on Monday.

Roxana and Karla, thanks.  These two blocks I made for these quilts, i have never made before, so it was fun doing something new.

Joyce, what brand is your machine?  I have a Janome and bought a 1/4 foot. It's so great as you just place the fabric right up to the edge of the foot and it comes out with 1/4 inch stitch every time.

All of the blocks that have been post on both quilts have been very nice..   It will be fun to see what the full quilts look like.

Hello All - thanks for the comments on my block. My favorite technique is paper piecing and favorite block is New York beauty so the choices was easy. Looking at all the beautiful blocks gave me an idea. I think it's time to make a blue and white quilt for myself.... Thanks for the creative 'push' ladies!

Joyce:
check your machine book instrucitons.

Joyce--I went for the manual machine so it is my manipulation unless I want to buy a quarter inch foot. I bought the machine for occasional piecing but I really like it so I am doing all block piecing on it. That's why I decided to actually mark the setting and be set for future.

Here is mine. That is not a spot on the white, sorry...it is lint. I doubled on the white to make it show up better. I will get this mailed off tomorrow.

Beautiful block...I'll be watching for it in the mail.

Zoetec49: I looked real close at that white you have in there and I noticed I have that exact white. I fell in love with it at the store. Funny how that works.

Karla, Been sick, Going to make my block today.

What do you use to sign your block? Can I use a sharpie or that might "bleed" while in the was... Just wondering.

My block will go in the mail on Monday.

Zsofia, there are special permanent ink fabric pens.  Your quilting store will have them.  They come in several colors.

Frances, as my DD1's British MIL would say, it's simply lovely.  I'll be looking forward to receiving it in the mail.

Julz, I have that same white, too.   It's super pretty.

Hey, did I send you my address...I didn't see you in my friends list, but then I am half asleep still, worked on a quilt until about 2 am....
