By looks of what you've done already, Jacy, you have done a wonderful job. You are so kindhearted for generously taking this on. You have nothing to worry about with your beautiful quilting. Thank you so much for doing this for Kristin and all of us. THANK YOU!

I'll second, third, fourth what everyone is saying.  The blocks you all made are beautiful and go together so well!  Jacy, your quilting looks professional.  Are you doing it on your DSM?  Kristin is sure to feel truly touched by this act of love and kindness!

Thank you all for your kind words, not all the blocks are quilted so wonderfully, and i'm making it up as I go. Sometimes i have to get a pen and paper and doodle first to figure out what to do on a block. Judy, I don't like to mark and I can't sew a straight line so this is all freehand. Nancy and Ginny, I have a used HQ16 that I bought last year, I haven't quilted a lot on it but I really like the stitch regulator.  As far as making quick progress I'm trying to get this done before everything snowballs around here, DD's boyfriend is coming home on leave next week and she is planning on him coming here to ask DH the BIG question. Football practice starts next week, back to school things to gather for 4 kids, camping trip to prepare for, big kids to taxi drive around, younger kids to entertain and feed. See, I think I'll go and head back to quilting, I have things much more under control there!

This morning I quilted for 2 hours before the kids got up, here's a few more blocks, with lots of stipple and wobbly lines!

Well, you have the same set-up I have, then, (minus the stitch regulator), but I rarely have the patience to try multiple quilting designs within each block.  I usually go for a quick all-over design.  I LOVE what you're doing with this quilt!  Look at how pretty your quilting within the block made Gini's applique jump out!

Carylanne is unable to post at this time but I've been sending her pictures of the quilt progress and she wanted me to post this.

Roxana Please tell Jacy that Carylanne is proud to be a part of such a wonderful HEART gift. Assure her that how she is able to take on a project of such magnitude, that I for one solute her, that her quilting will be a suggests no matter what she does. DO NOT stress overly, as she is doing what we cannot at this time. All the work involved in the squares, designing the layout putting our pieces together is a gift from GOD to her.

I wanted to say Hugs, but the more button is not working anymore for me so I can't go back and  edit. I did the correction for IE10 but i guess that part didn't take.
