We didn't buy up all the stuff but we certainly helped the economy.  Now to wait for calls if we won anything.  It would be the icing on the cake.

Well, I finally had my internet fixed. It went out last Thursday and I couldn't get on at home. All the tech did was unplug the main cord from our power surger and plug it in the wall! Seriously, they could have told me to do that over the phone. I have caught up on all the posts and just want to say....the quilts are gorgeous, you ladies are industrious, so sorry for those of you in pain (praying for you). Still praying for the little one that went back to her biological mom. I have to put aside my quilting for a few days. My garden is coming in and needs picking and weeding! Love the produce, but hate having to put the quilting on hold:).

Nana, your sewing room is wonderful. My DH bought me a really nice Koala quilting table and I love my sewing room now. Not nearly as large as yours, but it works well.

Diana it looks like you are doing just fine on your free motion quilting.  Look forward to seeing pics of the finished product.

My room is probably about 12 x 14.   All my fabrics are stored in another room....LOL>   All the closets in the upstairs bedrooms are full of quilting stuff LOL

Oh my, Nana, I don't think I'd like being that far away from my fabrics but I sure would like a nice sized room like that.

My sewing room is in the "upstairs" portion of the house.   We live in a split level and most of the living space is upstairs except the family room and the master bedroom.

Carolyn (CarolBeau):

Great work, Debbie and Michelle.

I finally finished my MQ7 and am on to my July monthlies.  :)

Yeah!!  Great job!   You're ahead of me!  I finally got the back made for mine at the retreat in the Smoky Mountains... now I just have to put it all together and quilt it.  It's Christmassy so I have a little leeway.

Nana

You have a great sewing room. I'm trying to get mine to look good. Mine is very narrow, and 2 doorways. Lots of unusable wall space.

It's for her birthday. It was July 4 but they were gone to Disney World for the last 2 weeks.  I'll be taking it there in Aug when I do a class in Baltimore.

Your quilt is beautiful! My daughter's best friend, whom I love dearly, is expecting a child and I would love to make a quilt for the baby. My problem is that her theme colors are yellow and gray. Does anyone have any suggestions for fabric lines and/or patterns? I need to make it quickly. Thanks Dee

Hi Dee,

Winnie the Pooh is yellow, and you could use gray as a background color. Maybe yellow and gray pin wheels going around a Winnie panel, or fussy cut Winnie from fabric..
