I don't gab too much here, but I do lurk!  I love to hear the goings on with everyone.  I just wish I had stories like CC!  I'll have to try to start writing down the little things that my granddaughters say & do.  Sometimes, it's quite comical.  Although, the 4 year old is given to intense tantrums.  She had one last night that lasted for 45 minutes.  Just when we thought she was winding down, she would start up all over again.  She was in her room with the door closed, but we could still hear her OVER the tv AND my sewing machine!  Good set of lungs on that one!  I'm still really thinking that her pediatrician is wrong and there is something not completely right with her.  She has these tantrums at least once a day and they can last anywhere from 5 minutes to the 45 minutes from last night.  There is no calming her down--she becomes stiff as a board if you try.  My heart breaks for her because she is going through something, but we can't figure out what.

Nana, looks like you and Diana are having a great time.  Love all your purchases and can't wait to see what becomes of them.  Hope to see more from today's shop hop.

Not yet.  I think I know what the problem is, a loose bobbin case.  With the help of my DS I watched while he stepped on the "gas" and it slides out ever so slightly and then the upper thread gets wound around the bobbin base.  Any thoughts on how I could stop the bobbin case from sliding out?  Nowhere in my vast amounts of help manuals can I find a problem like this.

Susie, two of our grands were like that, we found they were allergic to RED 40.  Took away everything w/it in it and boy it is like night and day!  RED 40 is a poison and we are the only country who puts it in our food.  Crazy!  Anyway, worth a try . . . just remember, pink, purple and sometime orange things have it in there.

I am hoping to get some sewing done tomorrow.  And maybe even Friday.  :-)

Everyone have an awesome rest of the week!

Haven't sewn a lot.  I bought a long arm frame and Janome 1600P on Ebay a few weeks ago and went to pick it up,  I took last week off and cleaned out some of my junk room, dismantled the bed in the guest room and moved it out.  Then I put the fame up and still have to figure what else I need to do to get everything working together, but my sewing room will be just that when I'm all done.  No more sewing on an ironing board at the foot of the spare bed!  I also got a new foster dog last week.  She's cute, but doesn't get along well enough with my Fannie to keep her.  This is the first foster I've actually had a problem with.  She's sweet and very cuddly, but a bit possessive and snippy with Fannie.  So I'll get her adopted and keep an eye out for a new puppy for us.  It's been a year since we lost our TInk and I still miss her very much.  Fannie is getting a little older, but she still needs someone to wrestle with so I'll keep looking.

Had a terrible wind yesterday and through the night and quite a bit cooler this AM, in fact it was cold at 38 degrees, big change from last week's almost 90 degree temperatures.  The wind took nearly all of the plums off of my tree, picked up three 5-gallon buckets of those poor little green things that would have been oh so good this summer when fully grown and ripe.

Made chicken and dumplings for dinner and now it is just about time to take the boys to TaeKwonDo.  At least there is only one more week of school so I won't have to fight them to do their homework anymore.
