i've just finished quilting my second quilt and it is very obvious that i need a bigger/better machine to keep up the fun.  i'm looking for something that can handle piecing and quilting with a decent amount of space to the right of the needle, but that will fit my modest price range at $1200 or under.  any suggestions?

I've got a Viking Sapphire that I got on ebay for about $600 last year...has a large harp space (space to the right of the needle).  No complaints about it, but I don't know what the price is new.

I bought a Janome Memory Craft 6600 2 yrs ago for around $1500.  Janome has some new models since I bought mine so the price may be less now.  Also, you may want to consider a machine that has been traded in.  They are usually serviced and offered with classes and a warranty.
