i need a pattern for the folded star quilt, does anyone have one or point me in the right direction

If you google "folded star quilt" you will come up with a number of hits...some of the patterns are free.....the quilterscache site's seems pretty good

I've made quite a few potholders with the folded star method.  I bought a potholder on a trip and used it as a guide so didn't really have a pattern, but this tutorial is the closest to the method I used:


One comment...  The fabric layers become very thick with this method.  I am not sure how appropriate it would be for a small "lap" quilt, but it would make a beautiful wall quilt!
