Jeana, I heard thru the "grapevine" on the quilt retreat in April in the hill country. I would love to come. Debbie-do and I are looking at traveling there. What do I need to do to hold a spot, reservation money, what to bring, foods for us to do the meal, etc. Michelle

It's fun to hear that the Texas gals are going to get together. We'll be looking forward to pictures when the time comes!
Say, you all should think about organizing a QCA retreat in Texas in the late winter/early spring of 2014. We've been hoping for something in a warm location, but the Arizona retreat doesn't seem to be getting off the ground.

Jeana:Nancy, I would be glad to pull a Texas Retreat together for next year. How many do you feel would be interested? There are several retreat centers to choose from. My favorite holds 35, provides all meals, 4 to a room, 2 tables for work area per person, ironing stations, cutting stations, design walls all around the room, large quilting room, and an inhouse store for shopping. April is a great month for people to come to Texas to get out of the snow and cold and warm their toes! That retreat center sounds great. After April 15th works best for me! Nancy, say you'll come!!
