Vivian :

I know I posted this one some time ago but I finally got the borders on and its ready to quilt

The next one is a Carol Doak pattern.  It has taken me forever, but I have to get the blocks put togeather I have an offer of help taking the paper off if I make lunch.  nothing wrong with that offer. Notice it is one block.  only 100 in the quilt.

and finaly, the one I was working on in Washington.  bigger than a king  I think its 120 x 120 and I did a SID on my domestic. So, it CAN be done.

Gorgeous job on all accounts Vivian! Stunning work.

Finished the backing for the next quilt, pressed it, and have mounted it on the frame...now to mount the batting and press and mount the quilt top.  Also, I've got to run off about 10-12 bobbins so I don't have to stop during the quilting and make more.

Karla, Sounds like your on a roll. But dont you wish we had a helper for the tedious tasks. I try to do that stuff ahead but it seems like I have to stop and run off bobbins or change thread etc.   Susan

Elaine, your sunset is beautiful. If you click on the underlined words it enlarges and comes upright.

Elaine Phillips:
Here is a little sunset that i made that gini helped me with at Branson. This is for a color and design class that I am doing at my lqs. the white spot on the quilt is a reflexion off the glass in the frame. I couldn't get rid of it.

It's beautiful Elaine.

It's possibly because there is no space between the text and the photo so it all became one link. If you click the text you get a large view of your photo. To correct it click edit then click the broken link next to the film strip.

Elaine, beautiful sunset!!!  You could sell these.  Was your instructor impressed?

Yes, Nancy, my instructor was impressed. So was I that I could actually come up with this design.

Thanks, everyone, for your encouragement.

Elaine, beautiful sunset.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, I am frogging that which I quilted today.  Made it to the bottom 3rd of the quilt and it started gathering and bunching up so bad I just took it off the frame and am now taking it apart.  Obviously, it is not square, even though I measure and squared it up, at least I think I did.  Anyway, will try again as soon as I get all those quilting stitches out.
