Would it hurt to spray fabric sizing on the front of a t-shirt before adding the interfacing to the back to help it keep its shape while its being moved around and what not?
I think I would test a piece of a t-shirt not attached and check it out. It should work but I'd still check by doing a small sample. It's worth the little time it would take. Good Luck.

Jesse . The sizing should work fine as long as you don't spray it on the same side that you will place interfacing
