Hi! My nickname is Cookie. I'm a new quilter and have soooo very much to learn. I have sewed most of my life but have just started quilting. I was already addicted to buying fabric before I started quilting so now I am really addicted. I'm so looking forward to getting to know everyone and I hope I don't ask too many stupid questions.
Welcome, Cookie ! Ask away, there are no stupid questions. Glad you joined us here at QCA as there are a lot of knowledgeable quilters here who will answer any and all your questions or find someone who will. Where are you from? I live in North Florida but originally from Massachusetts. Looking forward to chatting with you again. Susan

It's fun to know how one gets unusual nicknames, thanks. My cousin got hers from an aunt who thought she was so sweet she started calling her Cookie and it stuck.
Welcome, Cookie! I'm fairly new and everyone has been so nice and you'll learn lots. wish I had discovered this years ago but oh, well! better now than never.

Life is like a quilt...bits & pieces, joy & sorrow, stitched with love
Hi Cookie: Nice to meet you. I think you will love quilting, I sure do. I haven't done much for a while now but looking forward to getting some time in this year. I have a quilt top I made for my grandaughter and hope to get it sandwiched soon and be able to give it to her. I gave another gd one Christmas before last. I have a gs and another gd to make for yet.
I grew up in W.Va. but now live in Maryland. Biggest thing in quilting I think is making sure you have a good 1/4 inch seams. My friend made me pick them out soooo many times. ha
Have a great day.
