My sister gave me a chenille cutter and rag quilt scissors. She also gave me a book of quilts that combine the two techniques!! Can't wait to try my cool new tools!
My Son gave me the Omnigrid Gear quilters travel case full of goodies for quilting . Now I am looking forward to going on a retreat some day.

My DD gave me a Christmas quilt kit from Keepsake Quilting, that I have been wanting for a long time. Cant wait to start sewing on it, I only have the whole year to get it done. And my DH gave me a new sewing machine, too. I feel like a kid in a candy store. Susan
Well, it's not really a tool. My BQB (best quilting buddy) gave me a bag to carry my tools. Isn't it cute?!

I didn't get any new quilting stuff for Christmas, but I did get a new digital camera so I can take more pictures of quilts, a lovely diamond and turquoise ring, a case and stylus for my Kindle, and a WalMart gift card.
I love the "Square in a Square" method. She had a trunk show at my LQS and she was so inspiring... she is very personable.
My DD gave me a 3x18 ultimate accuracy ruler and DH gave me EQ7 I'm anxiouse to install it.

Actually we don't formally exchange gifts at Christmas either. We kinda get what we want through out the year, but we always say. Happy birthday or merry Christmas when we get what we want. Our Christmas presents also go to the grandkids and the nephews and nieces. I feel Christmas is for kids, as far as presents are concerned. But I did get some cool stuff for quilting over the past few weeks.
My dad made me a wall mounted quilt rack like the one one this blog. I love it and can't wait to put it up.
