Learning to quilt. Learning to sew for that matter. Made a few simple projects like the dishtowel and potholder combo and one small lap quilt. Looking at Youtube videos to learn and of course I am learning by mistake.
Nothing fancy, but my first so it is simple.
Welcome, Salden. Learning, you say? NO, you HAVE learned. These are all wonderful. Your print and color choices are first rate. These are prizes for sure. Gifts for some one?
Salden, welcome. you did a great job

Thank you for your kind words. No gifts, just for me. I made the towel/potholders first then the lap quilt. I had to learn how to use a sewing machine and how to hand sew binding, but I did it without too much injury to my fingers. I put more needles in me than in the material. lol. I started another quilt, one of those scappy quilts. Just have to figure out how to quilt it on my sewing machine. Might have to learn how to do it by hand.

Welcome Salden, You will love it here. There are youtube videos on free motion quilting (FMQ). There is also a group on this site that you might like. Youtube will also give you really helpful information and tools to use. I think you did great on your first projects. I've been sewing for over 40 years and still put more pins in me that the fabric. Again, welcome.
