skipped stitches

My Brothe pq 1500 is giving me a bit of a headache it is now and then skipping stitches I rethreaded anybody got ideas what the problem could be ?

Is, change your needle , rethread your mahicne and check your bobbin is wound tightly .if this doesn't help try chaning your bobbin. Let us know if this works ? most likely , its the bobbin.

Hi Is,

I was having this problem with my Bernina. When I used a certain type of iron on applique (can't remember what kind) it would skip terribly.  Also if there is a lot of lint around the bobbin area, it will skip. Just FYI

My machine will start skipping stitches when it needs the lint cleaned out of the bobbin area.
