our ski area is right at 200 inches of fallen snow, that's a huge total for before the first of the year. down here we only have about 8 inches on the ground.

It has finally snowed!!!!! I have about 3 inches in the front yard right now. I might get to use the snow blower by nightfall. (it has been broke for two years, just got it fixed)
Listening tho the County police scanner. One of the Deputys' just came onthe radio and siad it is snowing like crazy. Yeah, every where in the County. BUT HERE!! BOO!
We got at least 6" snow today, but I guess I shouldn't complaign after hearing what some of you received!!

I'm very content not to have any snow or ice...always brings dangerous problems. I would very much like to get out and visit library and possibly Home Depot for some of the directional covers for floor furnace.
Well we're getting more s**w. Winter weather warning in effect until Friday. It's coming down really hard and fast here. Our guy just left after plowing the driveway and I'm sure he'll be back a few more times today if it continues like this. Because we are close to the coast there's a chance for this to mix with rain so it will keep our totals down. The "interior" should get six to ten inches.
My thoughts and prayers to all of you in the storm. This is a bad one. Stay warm, and off the roads. Thea, that means YOU. Cancel your trip unless things get better fast!
We got at least 8 " of snow here by last night, according to the news. I think we really got more than that but my GS and GGS came over and shoveled the whole driveway, walkway and patio area of snow last night just as it was letting up so I can't measure it now.
My daughter is with me from Oregon right now and is leaving to go back to Oregon early tomorrow AM. She is going by train, takes 41 hours fro here. We are going out for supper soon, going to a favorite restaurant of mine where they make their own corned beef and the sandwiches are awesome. They also have awesome homemade soups. Hmmm, I think I am starting to drool. See you all later. Ginny
Well we didn't get the change over so we're getting the full dose up to 2 feet they're saying. THis was the scene just before leaving for work:
This one was taken on the drive to work:
and here's the scene outside the ED:
It's still coming down. The ride home should be interesting.

Not at all. I've only seen one patient since I got here at 2:30. Pat Ann and I have been surfing the net and catching up here, laughing a lot too. She's actually working now and I'm at the front desk alone.
Thanks for all the kind thoughts. I live three miles from work, I just drive close to the middle of the road and take it slow.
Made it home safely.
your snow is beautious, kris
