I absolutely love the window. The view is so pretty. Your tree is really festive. I use to put garland on our trees when my kids were little but it has kind of went out of style here. We used the "icicles" on our trees at that time as well. I don't think I have seen those for years. Isn't it strange how things like that change.

Here is my undecorated tree, just waiting for the grandsons to get it decorated. I will try to post a pic next week when it is done.
Life is like a quilt...bits & pieces, joy & sorrow, stitched with love
Whew!! I'm done ...
Finally got the tree up!!
Just love the smell of pine!
LOL... my bah-humbug friend sent me this today... sorry, couldn't resist! I haven't found the time to get any decorations out let alone the tree... and I made a new tree skirt last year too!

Jeanine: We stopped decorating for Christmas several years ago. I get out the Christmas quilts and table runners. Too many other things to do this time of year but appreciate other people's decorations!

Jeanine, We dont decorate the whole house anymore but i love having a tree and mum always loved having a tree and since i dont have Christmas quilts and table runners yet, maybe next year i might have one (if i get my finger out) and i bet your house looks lovely with your quilted things.
Wow Carol,
Your tree looks wonderful and your mantelpiece looks stunning Santa will definately know where to find you this Christmas.
Is,
Yours tree looks wonderful as equally wonderful as your MQ7 thats on your table.
Wow marie,
Towels as well, did you make them?
Nana,
I kind of thought you would have a tree like your quilts HUGE LOL.
The tree this year is very understated when my mum did it, you were lucky if you could see the tree through the ornaments a lot simpler affair this year, plus i dont have her decoarating skill that she had.
Spud,
Its very beautiful and very big, well that should keep everyone out of trouble getting that decorated.
Debbie,
Well done now just a question how are you going to put on the lights :)
