Here is my tree, with almost all of the gifts under it. There are two great big ones that wouldn't fit under the tree for the two middle grandsons. The youngest grandson (4 mos. old) has already been using the exersaucer I bought for him so it's not under the tree either.
Looks like a happy family Christmas Karla. Nice tree.

90% of the gifts were for the 4 grandsons...I went way overboard this year because we had the money, now I just hope they won't expect this every year.
new to this saw the tree very pretty .
Patti:Here is our "for the birds" tree
Patti,
what a great tree. I love it. The birds will love it when you put it out.
Patti, love the idea of your treeand I'm sure the birds will as well. DH did a beautiful job of creating the birds.
Pretty tree Karla and nice haul for the DGK's. That's pretty much what it looked like at DD house after Santa, Mom & Dad and Grandma got through.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.
Karla - a belated Happy birthday - your tree is beautiful - mine is in MN at the grands house - I gave it to the kids last year - they needed a new one and it was getting very difficult for me to put it up and decorate it - I still have all my ornaments and when we move north DH says we will have to get a new one as the Grands will be at our house during the holiday... Yours is very very pretty... and all those packages - what fun! I can't wait till next weekend!!!
Such a beautiful tree and the birds are wonderful the top bird we call a nuthatch (i think its possibly called something different over there) we have one come to our garden, next year i think you need a woodpecker as well what are the birds made of ???
Karla I love your star ! Where did you get it from?

Thanks Frances. We call it a nut hatch too. Yes, I would like a downy woodpecker. He makes a body of crumpled foil, and then skulpy clay on top of that, sometimes adding real feathers in the tail. He bakes them slowly for a few minutes to harden them.
Thanks everyone for the complements on the tree. It was all DH's idea.
Its really clever ive never seen anything like it, tell your DH he is very talented.
Patti, your tree is beautiful and it is so nice to see what can be accomplished without strings of lights. Its hard to believe that is cotton because it looks like real snow from a distance. Tell your DH great job on the birds but he probably already knows that :). I am staring at the first picture trying to figure out the backdrop because I like it too
