I've discovered my mq7 x2 is perfect size for my large table.  So as a tablecloth would you still add the batting or sew it without ?  What do you suggest?

My mq7 is about to become a ufo!  I've spent night pinning both sides to different pieces of batting I wanted this as reversible tablecloth I was gonna try fmq but havn't practised yet and don't want to ruin this further so i am thinking of doing both individually diagonal stitching then securing both with hand tied bows which i hate sewing anything by hand.  Maybe I should scrap the reversible idea and do two individual quilts Can anyone help me make this decision?  I think for me to start fmq I should do that on solid not print.  I'm so perplexed on how I'm completing this.  Maybe I should scrap the batting idea and just sew them like a pillow case.
