I need and advice... I want to do the border edge of my quilt with triangles over squers and I just dont understand how to cut the triangle (size) is always to short or to big, I know somebody some where knows how to do it.... LOVYA! these quilts is just fun, fun, fun and is about to get even better
hi claudia, welcome to the group. i don't quite understand what you're saying. if you are putting in setting triangles next to the squares, then yes there is a formula for that. the triangles on the sides, need to be a double cut from a square ( cut on both diagonals) so you don't end up with the bias on the edge. these are called 1/4 square triangles.

Gini, Thanks, I was just a little frustrated this morning. Thank God I found the perfect tool for my project, "the perfect triangle" by Fons & Porteralso apologies for my poor English ... you understood what I needed perfectly and the templets in your page are very useful as well,I just added to my favorites for next time. Thankyou
Claudia
