I know you can post to QCA with an I-Pad, but has anyone used any of the other tablets out there and can post to QCA with it ? Thanks, the models in the stores are never connected to the internet - just simulated so its hard to tell.
Hi Maggie, I have an iPad and my brother has a tablet. He can do anything he wants on it just as I can on the iPad. It's more a question of choice and what you like/cost.
good luck on your choice.

Hey Maggie,
I tried to answer this from my Kindle Fire but it would not bring up keyboard. I don't know why but it could be that I am doing it wrong. I went to show & tell and tried to send a post and it brought up the keyboard once but when I tried a second time it would not bring the keyboard again. Went to another pic and tried again and it worked so I sent a post which went through. So it might be me.....

Nana,
Is your Kindle Fire the one they are advertising with the HD or the one that came out last year which is the one I have?

I got my Kindle Fire HD 7 in Sept. My old kindle started getting lines on it and thankfully I had the extra warranty. So basically I got the new Kindle for $10. I really love it, It is like having a small i-pad. It has the apps, audiobook capability, video, music and is in color.
i'm still using laptop.

Thank you all. My daughter is going to get the Kindle Fire HD soon -- it looks really good and I think it'll do everything I need -- it uses Android Apps, right? I have been going back and forth betvveen the nevv Samsung (Costco has the 7" for $179 and the 10" for $329) I think both havve SD cards. My laptop is over 5 years old and besides not being able to use the "vv" the cd/dvd is getting finnicky. Opps HVC guy is here
Nana:thankfully I had the extra warranty
I did not hear anything about this, was it offered where you got it? I got my Kindle fire in Feb. I think my hubby got it at Walmart and they no longer carry the Kindle.
Life is like a quilt...bits & pieces, joy & sorrow, stitched with love
Maggie, the Kindle does use Android apps!
The air guy is on the roof novv. I think I'll vvait till my daughter gets her's and then see hovv I like it. I've been using iTunes as my default library because of the iPod touch so I should be able to transfer my movies and music to the tablet -- guess I'll have to check on the formats each tablet uses and if it can take an SD card.
Maggie, I may be wrong, but as far as I know the new Kindles still do not have a memory card slot, not sure why cause that is one thing I really wanted. But, my hubby got me mine for Valentines day so I could take it to treatments and I love it.
You're right Spud. That's okay for my daughter but I think I need the expansion. I have a lot of the f&P and Eleanor Burns episodes on my iPod and I love having he portability. I'm leaning tovvards the Galaxy Tab 2. Same price range but it does play mpeg4 (movies) and can be expanded to 32 gbs. The online revievvs are pretty good. Decisions Decisions

I buy my kindles at Best Buy and they offer an additional 2 yr warranty. Amazon also offers an extended warranty if you buy thru them. It has come in really handy for me....I am always dropping things..LOL
I LOVE MY I-PAD!!! I do believe it is a new body part on me. I take it everywhere, yes even the bathroom. (Just a second, time to flush) Between internet, facebook and Netflix, I am a PAD-a-holic and proud of it.
