All your quilts are going to be beautiful .Barbara
EAT!! SLEEP !! QUILT!!
Carol from Pittsburgh: So here's mine. I'm not excited about the colors, but they're growing on me. I figure a solid dark brown for a border might help. The pieces that look white are actually beige.

Spudgrandma: Ramona: Yes, I found that out the hard way and had to 'unsew' 12 blocks! Wish the instructions had mentioned that. lol I just got home and have not even downloaded the directions - what did the directions not mention?

Spud I think she is talking about the fact that the blocks aren't square. They are 8 1/2 x 9. I think I did mention this in the "construction" thread in group.
Gini, I love your quilt. My DGD bought some of this fabric and wanted me to make a quilt out of it, but the pattern she had for it was too intricate to hold my attention. I know she would love this. She loves purples. Ginny
Wow I've heard y'all talk issues on this site, but never had any problem until this AM. Whew been working to get here for some time now. SEW just wanted to say last Thursday I decided to 'Jump Ship' on this MQ because I was disappointed in the design or lack of. However, after seeing all of these beautiful tops, I've changed my mind. I will finish the top because I love the fabrics I have and I don't want another UFO of units. Friday I found a square I made to go onto a back of a kaleidoscope quilt I pieced about 7 years ago in with a bunch of beautiful Christmas fabrics I've had from the years when I made aprons. While in the bin I found my sashing and border fabric for this one as well. This is the leftover square made into a baby quilt for Kayleigh Anne & I used another older great snowflake fabric as a backing. It is done and ready to go to her for her first Christmas. Love the Snowman Band fabric. Ok media not working?I was going to edit to see if I could insert pics, but still not getting the media page to open. will do it later.
Gini, your quilt top is so pretty. The fairy center is awesome. And your colors are perfect.

Gina, another beauty. Good job!
Here is my quilt on the design wall. What do you think of the layouts?

Thank you Nana. I did read that somewhere, but would probably have forgotten until I went into panic mode thinking I had done something wrong. LOL
Life is like a quilt...bits & pieces, joy & sorrow, stitched with love
I use a lot of green in my quilts, so that is the major color I had in my scrap pile I used to make this. I added a punch of gold. Can't wait to see how the border pulls everything together.
When life throws you scraps, make a quilt.
I did not get caught up last night and then could not get on this AM, but I just went back abt 6 pgs and your quilts are looking wonderful - Great Job everyone!!!
Marie, I think it is beautiful

Ramona, looks very pretty
Nope, I was replying to Debbie's post from Friday,......
"also, I discovered (for those not as smart -like me - as some of these experienced quilters) that the pieces from step 2 always sew the two the same order - mine are 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 on top of the 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 sewed with the 4 x 5 1/2 on top of the 4 x 3 1/2. found out, too late and then had to rip out, that all must be the same. quess that really says I'm been away from quilting too long. It's not as random as I was amking it - does require some order to it, so all the blocks have same sizes in same space of the block. "
I'm new to this posting stuff, :-)
