MNnancy:Did you square up your blocks?
How fun you got to see the AAQ show, I didn't realize it was in Minneapolis. That was a fun one to do. Some of the designs were absolutely amazing!

Judy, your scrappy is really pretty! Your 3D is beautiful! Love the shadow the black fabric adds to it.

Bonita, your scrappy is turning out beautifully! I love these fabrics.
Everybody's interpretations look fabulous. I'm planning on becoming a sewing maniac after church today so I can get caught up with this one and Judy's train over on quilters board. I'd like to have at least those two projects caught up before starting the new week.
My vintage singer arrived and she is absolutely gorgous. Unfortunately the wire to the foot pedal is very worn and too dangerous for me to use except to try her out -- she runs like a dream. I've ordered what I need and hope to get her up and running later this week. She's a Singer 15-91, born on March 3, 1952 in Elizabeth, NJ, and I've named her Bessie. She will be dedicated to free motion work.
Briget, she is beautiful . I hoep you will have many years of fun with her.
EAT!! SLEEP !! QUILT!!
Brigit, she is beautiful. I have an old treadle but she needs a new belt. I should see if I can get one and play with her again, it has been almost 50 years since I used her last.

Briget,
This old sewing machine is very touching (I hope it's the good word... argh... my bad english).
Imagine, all the cloths and quilts Bessie has sewn !
I also have a old Singer, who belonged an aunt. But no foot pedal, only a handle.
I hope you'll make fine quilting with her !

Wow, for such a simple quilt some stunning results are comeing out. I have not evencut my fabric as I have been in a bad place health wise for the last three weeks. Perfect example Thanksgiving dinner was Chicken Pot pies!
Elizabeth: I have been in a bad place health wise for the last three weeks.
Hope you are feeling much better soon, Elizabeth. BTW I love chicken pot pies.

Sorry to hear you've been ill Elizabeth. I've got the turkey carcass in the crockpot for turkey vegetable soup today. I'd bring you some if you lived closer.

Thanks Mimi, I bought this as a twice the charm from MSQC months ago and the last time I looked they didn't have anymore. The fabric is fom RJR fabrics and is called Simple Pleasures. I know MNnancy just bought some so I'm sure it's still out there. The bundle was put together by Debbie Beaves of the Violet Patch, Inc.
