Jeanine:

I stopped in at our new quilt shop on my lunch hour today.  I was looking for a specific line of fabric.  The owners greeted me like we were best friends.  It was kind of fun talking with them.  I am going to set up a Project Linus drop off site there and they are going to pass on some longarm business to me.  They only do the computer driven quilting and have one other employee that does long arm work but she has a large backlog.  I am hoping I get something from that.  They thanked me for being their cheerleader.  If you follow me on facebook, you would know what they are talking about.  They are in a contest to earn $5,000 but they need to be in at least 5th place through a vote once per day system through October 22.  If they win, they asked me what I wanted them to buy and I mentioned Quilts of Valor type fabric.  She liked that idea so she said she would.  Love having influence!

Jeanine,

Yuck, yuck, yuck!!! No one wants these issues. Sorry you're having problems with the tension and I hope you get it worked out soon and back to your beautiful quilting.

Here is my "problem" quilt!  Turned out ok finally.  I should never use any other thread than Glide.!!!

I used a panto called Ambrosia.

The backing was from the same line as the front.  So sweet!

Do any of you have a deadbar on your quilt frame; if so, did it come with your frame or did you add it. I'm thinking I would like to put one on mine to make it easier for me to use.

Just found the pictures of the quilt you are doing now, Jeanine.  I love it.  Love the fussy cutting.  Wish I had seen this to make my GGD's quilt.  I think she would love it.   Ginny

I played with a charity quilt I have had sitting around for a long time.  Didn't mean to quilt it so much but sometimes I just like to play around...like a kid with a coloring book.
