Joni - the quilts for your great nieces turned out beautifully.
Griffin, GA
Donna - the quilt you made for the wedding gift is very nice.
Elizabeth - I love your "little" projects. I would keep an eye on those cuties or they may walk away when you aren't looking. :o)
Hope you folks up in the NW get some rain or snow soon!
I can just see Gini showing up at the retreat with one little bag of quilts to work on...while everyone else is lugging in boxes and bags and machines. Beautiful and amazing work, Gini!
Harry Potter's Project of Doom has been my everlasting project recently. I will finish it! But I had to take a break and start another quilt...something to rest my eyes from Harry. Here is a sample:
It will be a bright quilt, if nothing else can be said about it! Ya'll have a fun and quilty weekend!
Max
Gini - I can't even imagine working on anything that teeny tiny!!!!! To me BIG is beautiful. :o) My eyes couldn't handle anything that small. You amaze me!!!! I can't wait to see it when it is all finished.

Gini, that sounds like such fun and you are so gracious to offer. Thank you! I would love to come but I'll be just getting home from a trip to Vegas with my girlfriends. We've all been friends since grade school and we're leaving our hubby's at home and heading to Vegas for our 70th birthday blowout! Look out Vegas, here we come. We did the same thing when we all turned 50. Next one is age 90. We do get together every month and would you know, not one is a quilter.
In the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
max, i love you "taking a break" quilt

Thank you all for the nice comments on the wedding quilt. This is fist time in days I have been able to get this site to load..... To the question of how I plan to quilt it. I am not comfortable with free motion quilting, especially a quilt of this size on my machine. So I have decided to do diagonals down the center of the floral squares, the on the white squares, I am going to use white thread and embroider wedding bells.

First time working with purples, and first time with semi-circles. I'm excited to see where this one takes me.
Max I am to ,this is just a very differnt pattern but your other ones turned out fabulous so I see no reason why this one will be just as beautiful . Can't wait to see it .
Thanks Marge.
Just sewed binding on Kelsi's (pink) and now to sew binding on Riley's (blue). Then to do the hemming by hand. I never have any luck doing finish hemming by machine. Got The Scottie pillow cases ready to do finishing seam. Then to make a couple throw pillows for Kelsi's to go with her quilt.
I hope to make it to Jodi Barrow's visit Tues...will call AST tomorrow. Love her tools and her quilts. Looking forward to seeing her and her work in person.
I'm so loving this beautiful cooler weather. Thinking seriously of saddling up Princesa and going for a ride. If not will at least walk a mile this evening...Dutch is begging for a walk, of course so are Buster and Dharma, it is such a zoo here sometimes.
