Linda:

Judy, beautiful quilt and I love  the border!

After cutting out hundreds of pieces for a quilt for my friend Jan, I just had to take a long break from that project. So I started piecing the Amish exchange blocks from our recent retreat.  Here is what I have so far...

Not sure what to do next. Thought about using this piece of fabric. I think there is enough possibly for the backing and maybe to do something in a border. I'm stumped on a border treatment. Will accept any suggestions.

Linda, I don't think it needs borders on this one - very very nice Amish quilt and I think if we look at the Amish quilts that they don't usually do fancy borders.

Linda,

I'm in keeping with some of the others here that it doesn't need a border unless you just need to make it larger. If larger is the case, you could do the print you have as a small (2") border and then add black as an outside border.  It just seems too light for a large border, but then that's just me.

Thank you for the nice comments about Snowmen A-Z - I just finished up Rainbow with the border - but alas - my camera's battery died so have to take a picture tomorrow of it for you... I will now start working on my Sew Spooky - and not feel guilty...lol... how do UFOs make a person guilty...lol...

I still have quite a few quilts to quilt but i do not think yet that I should take that weight on my neck and shoulders - but as soon as I get the 2 Sew Spookys done I will start quilting all of them.
