I love the "woven" block. I think a whole quilt with this would be stunning...but then I absolutley love purple.

I think it is awesome that you will be joining the round robin groups. I have had so much fun doing the borders and have seen some stunning quilts. I am working on my last border right now. Finished the borders and folded the top. The longer I sat here thinking about it I have decided that there is one more thing I really need to do to finish this border and then it goes in the shipping box before I think up something else that it just has to have.....LOL>
Kelley: Also working on this paper pieced block .. Got the block from The quilters Cache..I think whole quilt like this might be overwhelming...lol...

Wow, you all have been busy.
Kelly - both of your blocks are wonderful. I really liked the round one.
I've been busy with two mystery quilts and making a few items for a silent auction today. This is not a quilt, but I'm pleased with how it turned out. Would have been better with a bit of braid or something around the top, but I didn't have any.
Kelley, your star is very pretty, is it an ornament , coaster? Love the background fabric, looks like a night sky.

Kelley, your PP block is beautiful! I went to the site and saw the whole quilt and it's stunning! Good luck if you plan to make one.
Brigit, I love your auction piece, so dainty and pretty.
Befrybat, your teacup pincushion is wonderful.

Thanks all. I really like the idea of recycling cups for the pincushions. This was a test run to see what the selling price might be for an upcoming craft fair I'm thinking about entering. Unfortunately the high bid was only $5.00. I had hoped it might sell for $7.50 which would have been making them worthwhile. This particular one cost about $3.00 in materials and a half hour to make. I'll need to re-assess if I want to make these for the craft fair or not.
Elaine thats why I have an accquilt, cuts the fringe on 2 squares in 10 seconds.

$7.50 seems like a very fair price at a craft fair. The hardest thing about selling at fairs is listening to so many people say, "Clever. I'll make that for myself at home," even though most never will.

Very pretty pin cushion BB. Like the idea of the scissors tied to the cup.
