Patricia Faye:Great job on your blocks. I really like the gold!
Ditto, I think the gold really sets it off.
Brigit, I love all your blocks. I prefer the red with the Santa fabric.

brigit carol. great santa fabric. use both fabric, it looks good that way. nice job on your blocks.
ramona, i'm sorry you've been feeling bad.
here's what i worked on today. i got all of my baskets finished, and this one basket with all it's borders on. one down and eleven to go. all of the pieces are cut and waiting by the sewing machine. it shouldn't take me long. once the baskets are joined, there are several more borders and some applique. my goal is to finish this top, this week. it's been a ufo, way too long. i also got my wildflowers, the ones that are finished, trimmed and ready to put the sashes on, couldn't find the sashing i got especially for this project. darn, life as an airhead sure cuts into my productivity.
Belfrybat, do you see how your wrapped block border around Santa makes half square triangles on the two corners? You might consider sewing it that way. I like the look!

That's what always happens to me if I clean my sewing room. I'm much better off when I leave the mess - then I can lift a few piles and find what I'm looking for.
Ramona - sorry your are ill. Prayers heading your way.
Gini - didn't even think of that. The fabric is just laid on to get an idea of colour. Hmm - back to the drawing board.
Everyone else -- what great talent! I'm fighting a cold (and losing) so my head is too stuffed to think clear enough to remember all your names tonight, but jobs well done everyone. Now I'm off to bed with a hot toddy (the only good thing about catching a cold!).
Here is a lap quilt that I started last year and even machine quilted myself (for practice) which turned out good enough for me. I finished the binding today. Don't look to close. I know there are puckers :-)

France's,
I love your fabric for your mug rugs, especially the one with a coffee cup and a cupcake.
Your co-workers are going to love them!
bev beautiful lap quilt. great colors.
Bev,
Love your quilt! The colors are wonderful! And I don't see a pucker anywhere. Great job!
Max
Bev, you did a great job on your lap quilt. Some of my very favorite colors! I don't see any puckers either...
Gini,
Pretty little flower basket! How big is the block? Is it one of your microminis? Good luck on finding your sashing. I'd help you look but I still looking for some binding I know I fixed and put away in a safe place.
thanks max, not a mini this time. i didn't measure, it's about 15 inches, and i found my sashing here at the house. i thought i had taken it to the studio. that's what i get for thinking.
I know what you mean about thinking....its hard when I don't have much to work with.
glad you found the sashing. I'll continue to look for my binding.
Even if you basket is a huge 15 inches, its still pretty!
