This is what I've been working on the last few days. My soon to be 31 YO DGS always loved Charlie Brown so I'm making this for him and his unborn son to cuddle up with when his son is born late winter.
These are the leftover triangles that I could make a crib sized quilt out of.

Very cute cuddle up quilt, Marie. Ginny
LOVE it Marie!! Charlie brown is one of my faves, too. Snoopy and Ziggy never fail to get me to smile. LOL
Quilters are people who strip so they won't go topless.
Oh, Marie, how cute is that!! They will love those quilts. Shoot, I love them. Are you only making two???
Very nice Quilt ! I love the windmill design. Today I'm recuperating after a trip to Frankenmuth Mi. Bronners and town with DH.

Well, I'd like to send himover, but we are in Michigan and I have never heard him state that he would like to move elsewhere. Now if we could move Texas closer to Michigan- that might work. LOL
Don't let that coworker get to you. There is always another day for that. I guess just keep thinking-Paybacks are-hmm- shall we say not nice? Hee hee hee Ginny
Yep Barbara, Just the best gift I am giving myself and the whole family- now she will get to see her youngest granddaughter for the first time. The little one will be 2 in the spring. Ginny
Yes, Angele it is going to be the best. To have her back home , again for Christmas. Ginny
Yes, Is, it can be very tiring to wander through Frankenmuth-- even just going to Bronners is a trip in itself. Hope you are soon rested. Ginny
Dang, Ginny!! If I weren't so happy with the one I got, I'd snatch him up! You'd gain 3 instant grandsons. LOL
Thanks to all who commented on my quilt, I'm having fun making this one.
Ginny, I plan on using flannel for the backing so it should be comfy cosy.
CC, makes me smile too.
Sukochi, I'm only making the large one at this time, just playing around with the little squares for now.
Is, I'm trying different layouts but this is my fave also.
Marie, your charlie brown quilt is going to be so cute.
Life is like a quilt...bits & pieces, joy & sorrow, stitched with love
Do you know Marie, he likes everyone, all the women. He has an 84 yo woman that he used to work with that he goes to see just about weekly. I think he is a gem, but he is just so afraid of finding another "crazy woman" . LOL Ginny
DH Just called. He was invited out to lunch today and offered a job - Came as a suprise. He turned it down, atho it would mean a significant pay/benny increase. The job is more of a 24/7 affair then the one he has now and he'd be on call every minute. It's not one he could leave at the office at the end of the day, so I am glad he chose to put the family first. But still, it was very flattering offer, and timely, too, as he and his boss are butting heads again. Maybe his boss will think about what an asset DH is if he's confronted with the possibility of him leaving.
While he was being dined, Sprout and I was putting the finishing touches on a few packages to be mailed. It took me all morning but I finally got my SiL's hot pads made. I made up the pattern as I went and I gotta say they came out cute. I chose batiks from my stash to match her kitchen. Hope she likes 'em...
Dang, CC Do you mean that I almost had Sprout to myself to squeeze and love on? Tont loves kids. When he was married before he had 2 stepsons. He still sees one of them ,but the other moved to Colorado. He also takes the son of a friend of his that committed suicide fishing with him and other things. He feels the boy needs a male companion since his Dad isn't around. Ginny
