Ginny - I agree - I hope CC got more than 1 cup but, I also would have had to add a splash of something more after that morning!
At the risk of sounding like I don't like men, cause I really do, I can't help but share what my Momma told me many years ago:
"Men make great pets. Just don't expect too much from them. Understand that you will be 100%responsible for them...their feeding, their shelter, keeping them healthy, keeping them out of trouble. Train them using simple consistent commands, be amazed when they respond, give them lots of ear scratches and tummy rubs and praise. "
I've noticed she was pretty much right...they make great pets. Just don't expect too much from them.

so true max... and on a PLUS note, I am going to pick up a Janome 11000SE as a loaner since my machine has been in the shop 3 weeks today. good news bad news great opportunity knocks. Mark called to say my tension unit came in and he put the machine together for me last night, BN; the unit doesn't work, GOK; I get a loaner that just came into the shop as a trade up. Yippee!! I see a fun afternoon learning the machine I want but can't afford, & now I get to use. Don't ya just wish you were here to play with me today?

I'm off to town for a bit, hope you all have a great afternoon. I did get grandson #3's quilt binding glue basted and ready to be hand sewn. Hope to have time when I get home to make a couple more labels and maybe join binding ends on a couple of quilts...
Trees here are starting to change...a bit early for us..
yesterday just kept getting worse..by 8:30p .......I had stomach virus, fever and chills. Lasted till 1a. Both kids are still healthy, thank The Lord. Maddie was more worried about me than her mom, really. Aaron was taking care of son..he is 10yo. Son is better today, Aaron got himself up,fed, dressed at to school bus on time. Cindy is drugged but surgery went well. Son is going to work at 4 pm so hope they do not plan to discharge her. Maddiemade me tea and toast so I will live. I had nightmare and woke up screaming at 3a...she had nightmare at 5.
Hope things continue to improve round here, thanks for thoughts and prayers. Our prayers for everyone else with dr appts, illness and safety in NYC.
