I am new to this forum I have been sewing since I was 16 got a more advance machine for Christmas last year. Been addicted ever since I have a Bernina 1080. I am married with one kid a 2yr old. I love applicae I am still trying to perfect the master or cutting circles any suggestions I would like to know thank you. I love learning new techniques and new tips.

hello to you, too karen, welcome to the group. what size of circles are you wanting to cut? there is no secret. anything smaller than 8 inches i cut on a sandpaper clipboard that i made. it holds the fabric while you draw the circles on. i have a pressed board clipboard and use elmer's glue to stick down some med. fine grit sandpaper. we have an applique group here and would love for you to come on over and see what we're doing there.

Hi Karen and Welcome. Hope you enjoy your time with us. I have a Professional Combo Circle template that let's me draw circles from smaller than I could ever possible use up to 2 1/4 in. I got it at one of the office supply stores in the drafting dept. It really helps make a nice circle.

Welcome to the club! You will find lots of help here and it is a great place to be. There is so much knowledge here it is unbelievable. Even a counselor for those of us whom have an addiction problem like, fabriholics, quiltholicics, etc. She may even be able to help us with binding phobia, applique phobia, etc. LOL Anyways a big welcome, you are gonna love it here.
