I am looking for the patterns for the Boston Star, Lexington Star, Bunker Hill Star and Concord Star that Fons and Porter showed way back when on Quilting with Fons and Porter, 200 series. The block are principally the same except the four corners are different. They used them in a Patriot sampler that they made. If anyone can help I would be greatful.
The first place I would look would be Quilter's Cache - http://www.quilterscache.com/QuiltBlocksGalore.html (scroll down past the ads to find the pattern names / links).
On the banks of the Mississippi River in north central Minnesota (Brainerd lakes area)
Thanks for the website. I looked up a couple and I have a feeling that Fons and Porter gave them these names (after battles during the Civil War). I will have to run thru the blocks by page and see if I can fine them. Again THANKS
Those patterns are in Stars and Stripes Sampler by Liz Porter and Marianne Fons, available by putting the title in the keywords box on their web site
They are on QNNtv.com. Looked them up after seeing the Stars and Stripes BOM ad in the fall issue of easy quilts. http://www.qnntv.com/videos/2187-create-boston-lexington-concord-bunker-hill-stars/
